Bit of a boring old fart really; I've always wanted to write but seem to have had writers' block since the days of Genesis. Was getting a bit worried too. I know many writers flower late - but there are limits.

That's where the writers' group comes in. The heady intellectual atmosphere, the sparkling individuals, (not to mention the coffee and biscuits), are already working their magic. Only been a member of the group for 3 weeks and have already started work on a short play; the inspiration being our weekly visits to a theatre group. (The group meets in a pub coincidentally).

Yes, the block is shifting - thanks to Alison and co. Truly, they are intellectual ex-lax.
